Step-by-step instructions for using Club Card

Adding Cards

  1. Tap the + button on the home screen
  2. Choose to scan a barcode or enter manually
  3. Add card details (name, store, color)
  4. Save your card - it's now available offline!

Scanning Barcodes

  1. Grant camera permission when prompted
  2. Point your camera at the barcode
  3. Wait for automatic detection
  4. Review and save the scanned card

Cloud Sync (Optional)

  1. Sign in with your Google account
  2. Your cards will sync automatically
  3. Access cards on multiple devices
  4. Cards remain available offline

Sharing Cards

  1. Open any card
  2. Tap the Share button
  3. Choose to share publicly or privately
  4. Others can import using your share code

Editing Cards

  1. Open the card you want to edit
  2. Tap the Edit button
  3. Update any information
  4. Save your changes

Importing Cards

  1. Tap Import Card from menu
  2. Enter the 6-digit share code
  3. Preview the card
  4. Confirm to add it to your collection

Home Screen Widgets

  1. Long press on your home screen
  2. Select Widgets
  3. Find and drag Club Card widget
  4. Select the card to display
  5. Tap widget to open card detail

Scanning from Photos

  1. Tap the + button on home screen
  2. Select Scan from photo
  3. Choose a photo from your gallery
  4. The barcode will be detected automatically

Changing Theme

  1. Go to Account screen
  2. Tap Theme
  3. Choose Light, Dark, or System
  4. Theme changes instantly

Adding Emoticons

  1. Open any card
  2. Tap the Edit button
  3. Select an emoticon from the picker
  4. Save your changes

General Questions

Club Card is a digital loyalty card manager that lets you store all your loyalty cards, membership cards, and reward cards in one convenient app. No more bulky wallet - just scan your card's barcode and access it anytime, even offline!

Yes! Club Card is completely free to download and use. The app is supported by non-intrusive ads, but all core features are available at no cost.

Absolutely! All your cards are stored locally on your device and are fully accessible without an internet connection. You only need internet for cloud sync and importing shared cards.

Privacy & Security

Yes! Your card data is stored securely on your device and, if you choose to enable cloud sync, encrypted in Firebase Cloud Firestore. We never share your personal information with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

No account is required! You can use Club Card completely anonymously with local storage. Google Sign-In is optional and only needed if you want to sync cards across multiple devices.

Club Card only requests camera permission (for scanning barcodes) and internet permission (for ads and optional cloud sync). All permissions are optional - you can use the app by entering card numbers manually if you prefer.

Features & Functionality

Club Card supports all major barcode formats including Code 128, Code 39, EAN-13, UPC-A, QR codes, and more. If your loyalty card has a barcode, we can scan it!

Yes! You can share any card publicly or keep it private. When you share a card, you get a 6-digit code that others can use to import it into their Club Card app. Perfect for family membership cards!

You can assign custom colors to each card for easy visual identification. Cards are displayed in an organized grid view, and you can quickly search for any card by name or store.

Yes! Enable cloud sync by signing in with Google, and your cards will be automatically backed up to the cloud. If you switch devices or reinstall the app, your cards will be restored when you sign in.

Long press on an empty area of your Android home screen, tap "Widgets", find "Club Card" in the list, drag it to your home screen, then select which card to display. Tap the widget anytime to open that card directly!

Yes! Go to the Account screen and tap "Theme" to choose between Light, Dark, or System theme. The System option follows your device's dark mode settings automatically.

Open any card, tap the Edit button, and you'll see an emoticon picker. Select an emoticon to personalize your card - it will appear on both the home screen list and the card detail view for easy identification.

Yes! Tap the + button on the home screen and select "Scan from photo". Choose any image from your gallery that contains a barcode, and the app will detect and read it automatically. Great for screenshots or shared images!

Technical Issues

Try these steps:

  • Make sure you've granted camera permission to Club Card
  • Ensure there's good lighting
  • Hold the camera steady and at the right distance
  • Clean your camera lens
  • If the issue persists, you can manually enter the card number

Make sure you're signed in with the same Google account on all devices and have an internet connection. Try signing out and back in, or pull down to refresh the card list. If the problem continues, contact support.

Try these troubleshooting steps:

  • Close and restart the app
  • Clear the app cache (Settings → Apps → Club Card → Clear Cache)
  • Make sure you have the latest version installed
  • Restart your device

If you have cloud sync enabled, your deleted cards may still be in the cloud. Try signing out and back in to restore them. Otherwise, you'll need to re-add the card. We recommend enabling cloud sync to prevent data loss.

Account & Billing

To delete your account and all associated data: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your cloud-synced data. Local data will remain on your device until you uninstall the app. See our GDPR page for more information about data deletion.

No! Club Card is completely free with no hidden costs, in-app purchases, or subscription fees. The app is supported by ads, which help us keep it free for everyone.

Request Data Deletion

Exercise your right to have your data deleted (GDPR Article 17)

Important Information

  • This will permanently delete all your cloud-synced data
  • Your Google account will be unlinked from Club Card
  • Local data on your device will remain until you uninstall the app
  • This action cannot be undone
  • You can re-create an account anytime after deletion
This should be the Google email you used to sign in to Club Card

Your request will be processed within 30 days as required by GDPR.
You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.

Alternative Methods

Delete from the App (Instant):

  1. Open Club Card app
  2. Go to Settings → Account
  3. Tap "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm deletion

Email Us Directly:

Send an email to flxcodelab@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and include your Google account email.
